Largely touted as the first music video in Kannada Language, 'Ocean Of Dreams' promulgates how dreams are chased and won. This depicts how the life of the cobbler (a young boy) can undergo a change which is in oblivion with education shining its rays, not only on the protagonist but the whole group represented by him: the children engaged in labour. This music video was done in three languages, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi of which the Kannada version got wide acceptance. The music is treated in a different way as it employs melody, an unusual attempt to convey such a theme. “Art should conceive something to the society. This is what we have tried to tell through this music video,” said Ajay Rahul, the director. The sections that are marginalized and oppressed should be brought to the main stream of society. This becomes evident, as all the children are given the key to open the door of the education. Though clad in music this piece stands apart in giving the society a message to bring in a change that can transform the whole system.
